Hi Dylan, I really enjoyed the second season of "Big Boys", what was your favourite part of filming season 2?

Oh, yeah, the thing I most enjoyed about shooting the recent series is just the camaraderie of the whole cast. We’re all really close and working with them is always a joy. They are all very lovely and talented people, including Jack Rooke and Jim Archer, the director. It is just good vibes.

What was your on set experience like? Were there any favourite moments?

It's so fun. But I mean, it makes it easier because all the scenes are hilarious. So we're constantly coming out with hilarious stuff. Jack great writing, of course. There was always a lot of laughter, lots of people laughing.

We could sense this sense of joy on screen. It was just so fun to watch.

es, I think it helps that we’re good friends in real life. So yeah, it definitely comes across on screen.

Were there any elements of Jack that you found challenging to relate to?

I think it was, it wasn't easy, but it wasn't hard either. It was a perfect balance, especially having the writer Jack Rooke there. I could always rely on him to reassure me or give me tips on a particular aspect. It was very helpful to have him there.

What did resonate most with you about Jack’s personality?

DL: Yeah, I think so. Is Yeah, he's, I think he's quite a relatable character. And I think, we've all, in one way or another, whether it be family, friends, or whatever, we've all dealt with grief in our life. So I think subject of that and kind of coming out of your shell during that part of your life is super challenging, but also super special, you know, and discovering yourself. I think it's very relatable.

How has the audience response been to your character after the first season, and did it influence how you approached the role in season 2?

I think what people say is they just talked about the show in general like their praise for the show in general. But I guess, my family and friends yeah, just said how it was good to see more of my characters, like kind of a feisty side and Jack getting more comfortable. So yeah, I think the response has been well received.

What can we expect from you next?

Season two of Beyond Paradise is coming out in March, we shot it last year. You get to see me be a cop, kicking arses and being my fun self, you know. I think my character is really funny. He is more confident and has a golden retriever energy. He’s very driven and a cool character to play, but super funny as well!

Finally, what do you think the acronym SID stands for?
